The upper four rows of spectrograms are instantly playable, while the longer spectrogram at the bottom of the screen is a real-time scrolling display of a field tape (microphone input looks the same). Windows in the display can be adjusted in appearance and size, recorded into, printed, and the whole display can be saved for quick retrieval later. Sounds associated with each window can be edited, filtered (along with other 'sound tools'), saved, played, and measured with time/frequency cursors.
